The specially designed lid of this roaster is equipped with prongs and has a domed lid shape. The resulting self-moistening circuit gives you a crispy and juicy result, as your food is continuously moistened during cooking. 
This so-called aroma rain keeps the food from drying out, gently cooks your food and enhances the natural inherent flavor of the food. The air circulation system inside the roaster ensures a homogeneous air flow in the cast aluminum body, whereby the food is optimally heated and energy is saved. 
The cast aluminum body guarantees long heat retention and efficient cooking.
The STONELINE® roasters convince with comfortable handling, as they have a lighter weight compared to the extremely heavy cast iron roasters. The roasters are versatile and suitable for all roast and braised dishes, for casseroles, for steaming as well as for baking bread.
Thanks to the special STONELINE® non-stick coating, your food can be prepared - as desired - with or without frying fat and oil and can be removed from the cookware completely without sticking.
Here it does not matter whether you cook on glass ceramic, induction, electric or gas. In cookware with the original STONELINE® coating no stubborn residues stick and the simple hand wash saves you time and effort.

Cleaning and care tips:

Before first use, we recommend that you thoroughly wash your cookware or bakeware with a little water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Then spread a few drops of cooking oil on the coating with a paper kitchen towel.
For further use, you can do without the use of grease or oil!
Thanks to the easy-clean effect, cleaning by hand is recommended. Simply wipe out with hot water, hand dishwashing detergent and a soft sponge.
