For the Salad

500 g asparagus (green or white)
200 g fresh strawberries, washed and quartered
1 Handful of fresh basil leaves
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 Tablespoon(s) olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Teaspoon(s) Honig (optional)

For the Balsamic Dressing

3 Tablespoon(s) balsamic vinegar
2 Tablespoon(s) olive oil
1 Teaspoon(s) Dijon mustard
1 Teaspoon(s) honey
Salt and pepper to taste

Sauté the Asparagus

1. Peel the asparagus with a STONELINE Vegetable Peeler (if using white asparagus) and cut it into 4-5 cm pieces.
2. Heat the STONELINE Frying Pan with some olive oil and sauté the asparagus over medium heat until tender and lightly browned (about 5-7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.

Make the Dressing

1. In a small bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Assemble the Salad

1. Place the sautéed asparagus into a large bowl. Add the quartered strawberries, sliced onion, and basil leaves.
2. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss.

Serve

Serve the warm asparagus salad on plates and garnish with extra pepper and fresh herbs. Enjoy immediately!
