Preparation
Tomato-Bacon Skewers
1.
Soak the wooden skewers in water before use to prevent burning.

Wash and dry the red and orange cherry tomatoes. Thread a slice of bacon onto one end of the skewer, then alternately add a red and an orange cherry tomato, and finally thread the other end of the bacon onto the skewer.

Mix olive oil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Brush the mixture evenly over the skewers.

Preheat the STONELINE® Back to Nature frying pan over medium heat. Place the skewers in the pan and fry for about 10-12 minutes, turning regularly until the bacon is crispy and the tomatoes are soft. Add a sprig of rosemary to the pan to give the skewers an extra aroma.
5.
Remove the skewers from the pan and arrange them on a serving platter. Garnish with fresh basil leaves. Additionally, you can serve the skewers with mini mozzarella balls and basil cream.
