How to make the fluffy American Pancakes:

200 g flour
1 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
1 Pinch(es) salt
2 eggs
250 ml milk (lactose-free if desired)
50 g butter, melted
1 Teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
2 Tablespoon(s) sugar
1 Tablespoon(s) oil for frying (e.g., rapeseed oil)

Preparation

  • Total time: 25 min

Prepare the batter

1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract together. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth – be careful not to overmix to keep the pancakes light and fluffy.

Cook the pancakes

1. Heat the STONELINE® Crepe Pan over medium heat. Add a little oil to the pan. For even, small pancakes, use the STONELINE® Dessert Rings. Simply place the rings in the pan, fill them with batter, and cook for about 3 minutes, until bubbles form on the surface. Flip the pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

Serve the pancakes

1. Garnish the cooked pancakes with maple syrup, fresh berries, banana slices, or a dollop of whipped cream. You can also add a dusting of powdered sugar for an extra sweet touch.
