Chili con Carne – Authentic and Spicy Tex-Mex Classic

Heat the olive oil in the STONELINE XXL Bratentopf over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic and sauté until soft.
Add the cubed beef to the pot and brown until it is cooked and slightly crispy. Add the diced bell peppers and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Stir in the tomato paste and let it roast briefly. Then add the chopped tomatoes, beef broth, cumin, paprika, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, sugar, and bay leaves. Mix well.
Let the chili simmer over low to medium heat for about 90 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water or broth as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
Add the drained red beans and chopped chili peppers (if using) and let the chili simmer for another 30 minutes until the beans are heated through and the flavors are well blended.
Remove the bay leaves and adjust the seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or cayenne pepper if needed.
Serve the Chili con Carne hot, garnished with fresh cilantro, a dollop of sour cream, grated cheddar cheese, and a lime wedge.

Super Toll, Schöne Zutaten. Freue mich drauf, lass es durchziehen bis zum Abend. Von Tag zu Tag besser. Kann gerne für paar Tage zubereitet werden.

Das Chili con Carne ist einfach mega lecker! Schöne Schärfe, richtig würzig und super leicht zu machen. Kam bei allen super an, das werde ich auf jeden Fall öfter kochen!
