Cook the penne in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
Chop half of the broccoli into small pieces using the STONELINE Multi-Chopper. In the STONELINE Gourmundo Serving Pan, fry the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside, leaving the rendered fat in the pan.
Roast the whole broccoli florets in the bacon fat and olive oil until lightly browned. Remove the roasted broccoli florets from the pan and set aside.
Add the onions, garlic, and chopped red chili to the pan and sauté in the remaining fat until translucent. Add the chopped broccoli and sauté briefly.
Pour the cream and vegetable broth into the pan and cook the broccoli until tender. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Puree the mixture with an immersion blender or mixer until smooth.
Add the cooked penne to the sauce and mix well. Distribute the roasted broccoli florets and bacon over the pasta.
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
