Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Grease the Freyersbacher 26 cm springform pan by STONELINE lightly and dust with flour to ensure the cake can be easily removed later.
In a large bowl, cream together the soft butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition to ensure a smooth and airy texture.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt. Sift the flour mixture into the butter-egg mixture alternately with the yogurt to avoid lumps. Stir in the lemon juice and grated lemon zest to infuse the batter with a fresh, lemony flavor.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared springform pan and smooth the surface with a spatula. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes until golden brown. Test with a wooden skewer to ensure the cake is cooked through: if no batter sticks to the skewer, the cake is done.
Let the cake cool in the springform pan for about 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack to cool completely. This will help the cake retain its shape and stay moist.
For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice until smooth and thick. Spread the glaze evenly over the cooled cake and let it set. This glaze adds an extra lemony kick and a delightful sweetness to the cake.

Hello,bin gerade dabei. Zwei Zitronen,von einer den Saft für die Glasur,der Saft der zweiten für den Kuchen,ok. Für den Teig die Schale einer oder von beiden Zitronen?🫣 Sorry für die dumme Frage aber macht geschmacklich bestimmt einen unterschied 🤷🏻♀️
