Freyersbacher® pots and pans are true all-rounders with long-lasting durability and are popular among both professional and hobby cooks thanks to their enamel coating. The enamel coating is a type of glass created by melting minerals at very high temperatures. It protects the cast iron from rust and, unlike pure cast iron pots and pans, is easy to care for without seasoning. Additionally, the coating does not react with acidic foods, allowing you to prepare any dish without concern. Enamelled pans and pots guarantee years of enjoyment without compromise!
Because cast iron has magnetic properties, it is suitable for all types of stoves, including those with induction. The material heats up quickly, is extremely heat-resistant, and withstands temperatures up to 400°C. Cast iron pans and pots excel at heat retention, preventing food from cooling down quickly. Thanks to their high temperature resistance, the pots and pans are also suitable for wood-fired ovens, open fires, and grills.
The hand-forged iron body is extremely robust and does not warp even at high temperatures. For proper use of cast iron cookware, it is important to heat the pan or pot gradually. Once evenly heated, the temperature can be adjusted according to the cooking method. Cast iron pans are also suitable for searing steaks or preparing crispy fried potatoes. Juices or liquids can be poured out drip-free via the side pouring spouts.
The smooth, enamelled surface is very hygienic, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean. In most cases, wiping the cookware with a cloth is sufficient.
A cloth for handling the hot cookware and a birch wood board are included for heat protection. The wooden trivet is perfectly matched to the size of the respective pan or pot. The indentation in the trivet ensures a secure hold of the cookware without slipping.

Cleaning and care tips:
Before the first and after each use, we recommend thoroughly washing your cookware with some water and mild detergent. Make sure the item is sufficiently cooled before starting to clean. Do not quench with cold water. Hand cleaning is recommended due to the non-stick properties of the enamel coating.
